Jonathan
Gee was about 1725. He inherited land known as Garrison from his
grandfather, Edward Botham. Edward's will, dated 19 January 1774,
uses the old word 'nephew' which meant grandson when referring to
Jonathan. Edward Botham died in 1774, and was buried on 26 February
at Glossop Parish Church. The burial records him as Edward Bottom "of
Garison near Hayfield"
Jonathan
married Martha Hyde, daughter of Ralph and Alice Hyde (see The Hyde family of Mellor). Jonathan and Martha had
seven children:

Gee baptised 9 July 1753 in Mellor.

Gee baptised 11 September 1757 in Mellor.

Gee. His father's will (dated 4 March 1794) mentions that he went to
America about 1786 and had not been heard from after 1789.

Ollerenshaw (born about 1753) in 1778 and they had ten children:

married Betty Hyde, daughter of Joseph and Mary Hyde (see The Hyde family of Hollingworth Head) on 11 July 1780
in Glossop. Betty had been baptised on 19 July 1756 in Hayfield.

According
to the Mill Brow register, Isaac Gee died on 11 December and was
buried on 15 December 1821 aged 66 when he died. The probate document
for his will says he died on 18 December. Betty died on 1 February
1823 aged 68.
James
Gee was born about 1761. He and his wife Margaret had a son who they
named John.
Margaret
Gee died on 20 May 1799 aged 28 and James Gee died on 13 May 1805,
aged 44. Both were buried in Marple.

Marple Bridge. She married Joshua Rowbotham (born about 1785) on 15
September 1806 in Glossop Parish Church.
Mary and Joshua had four children:

Bridge.
John
Rowbotham, born 6 March 1809, baptised at Mill Brow Ind, Marple
Bridge. John died on 1 January 1847 and was buried in Marple. His
wife Sarah (born about 1802) died on 25 June 1853 aged 51 and was
buried in Marple.
William
Rowbotham was born on 4 February 1812 in Charlesworth and baptised in
Mill Brow Ind, Marple Bridge. The 1881 census gives his age as 70, a
widower living at Ludworth Houses.
Jonathon
Rowbotham was born on 16 January 1815 and baptised in Mill Brow Ind,
Marple Bridge.
Joshua
Rowbotham died on 19 April 1815, aged 30 and was buried in Marple
Mary
then married John Hadfield (see A Hadfield family of Whitfield).
Joseph
Gee was baptised on 6 September 1787 in Mill Brow Independent, Marple
Bridge. He and his wife Nancy (born about 1796) had five children:

Ashton under Lyne. Grzegorz died on 18 August 1985 in Ashton under
Lyne. Mary died on 24 November 1989.

Teresa Philomena Ollerenshaw was born on 26 December 1930 in Ashton
Hospital and died on 21 February 2001 in Tameside Hospital. She
married Kenneth Thompson (born 20 March 1929 in Glossop, the son of
Clifford Thompson and Kate Bevan) on 14 Dec 1957 in Stalybridge. He
died on 29 March 2000 in Hadfield.
