1911 Census: Harry Sidebottom was 27 years old, and living at Hadfield Place, Glossop with his parents and siblings. He worked as a wood pattern maker.

Harry Sidebottom was probably born in Tintwistle in 1883, the son of William Ellis Sidebottom and Ellen, formerly Donohoe, who married in 1874 (registration district Hayfield).
He married Ruth Ann Smith in 1914 in Grimsby; there is no obvious evidence of children to this marriage.
Ruth married again after Harry’s death; she married William D Leighton in 1918 in Grimsby.
