1911 Census:
Edwin Noble was a 14 year old cotton spinning mule piecer, residing at 28, Manchester Road, Tintwistle. He was the son of Alice Noble, a cotton weaver.

Edwin Noble was born in 1897 in Tintwistle, the son of Jonathan Noble and Alice, formerly Ridgway, who were married in 1895 at Christ Church, Tintwistle.
