1911 Census:
Harry Leah was a 25 year old labourer, residing at 85, Old Road, Tintwistle. He was the son of Alfred Leah, a cotton mill hand, and Jane Leah.

Harry Leah was born in Tintwistle in 1886, the son of Alfred Leah and Jane, formerly Ashton, who were married in 1884 at St Michael's Church, Ashton-u-Lyne.
He was the brother of George Alfred Leah, also commemorated on the Tintwistle War Memorial.
