1911 Census:
William Crowton was an 18 year old clerk at a calico bleach works, residing at Woolley Mill, Hollingworth. He was the son of Albert Ernest Crowton, a night watchman at a calico bleach works, and Elizabeth Crowton

William Crowton was born in 1892 (registration district Ashton-u-Lyne), the son of Albert Ernest Crowton and Elizabeth, formerly Dawson, who were married at Christ Church, Tintwistle in 1890.
