1911 Census:
Norman Carson was a 29 year old cotton weaver's overlooker, residing at 205, Woolley Bridge Road, Hadfield. He was the husband of Edith Maria Carson, aged 31, and the father of Henry (7), Ena (4) and William (2).

Norman Carson was born in 1881 (registration district Bakewell), the son of John Watts Carson and Edith Maria, formerly Mellor, who were married in 1864 (Bakewell)
He married Edith Maria Bennett in 1902 (Glossop registration district). They had 5 childen, believed to be: Henry Carson born 1904, Ena Carson born 1907, William Carson born 1908, Norman Carson born 1909 and died 1910 aged 1, Bertha Carson born 1910 and died 1911 aged 1.

Commemorated on the memorial at: Tintwistle.
