14 December; A nice sunny start to the afternoon so wellies on and it was off down the beck valley. The beck is no longer swollen and the drainage ditch isn't quite as full as a fortnight ago but both the pond and the suds are very full. Lots of standing water on the gravel path and puddles/mud on the meadows. The wellies were definitely needed. Always something to take snaps of though.

28 December; A dull day but still opportunities for photos. Despite further rain, the pond and drainage ditch were already quite a bit less full than a fortnight previously. Very wet on the meadows and muddy through the woods. Definitely welly boot country.
