Bluebell Beck Valley, November 2019.
A sprained ankle at the end of October meant walks in the Beck Valley in the early part of the month were not on. Managed a couple later though.

17 November; Watching the mighty Acklam RUFC beat Middlesbrough yesterday I realised that the discomfort I was feeling in my ankle seemed to be more the result of stiffness of mollycoddled muscles rather than the effects of the sprain. So, after a month off, I finally got down the beck valley again. Unsurprisingly it was very wet in parts - and rather more muddy in places than first apparent - but still a great place to walk and get a few snaps.

30 November; Early walk this morning to catch the frost on the ground. The drainage ditch, which was almost dried up not many months ago, is now a frozen pond extending several metres alongside the path. The real pond also looks pretty iced up.
